Digital Hologram Fabrication

The holographic lenses in HoloSpex Glasses are digital computer generated holograms. Diffractive optical elements may be considered a more general class of elements that include computer generated holograms.

HoloSpex currently has the capability of generating binary amplitude and binary phase diffractive optical elements. We will soon be offering multilevel phase elements.

We are currently limited to features on the order of 10 microns, but expect to be offering products with features as small as 5 microns in the near future.

The holograms can be provided in a variety of formats including film rolls for mass production. Please contact American Paper Optics for inquiries about large volume roll format.

Applications include far field holograms for education and entertainment as well as prototyping for proof-of-principle research and development experiments.
